Compressive strengh test

Mainly in compressive strength test is two types they are
• cube test
• cylinder test

Cube test: 

• specimen is casted in steel of cast iron moulds of dimension 150x150x150mm cube.
• the cube is filled in the three layers and well compacted.

• the top surface made smooth.
• the finished surface is left undisturbed for 24 hrs at room tempr.
• the testing specimen is taken for 1,3,7, 14,28, 90and 365 days.
• the test is performed by standard unaxial compression test and at each time minimum three sample may tested.
